Job summary

LocumTenens.com, LLC is seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage in Kentucky on a locum tenens basis. The assignment includes 24-hour STEMI call with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM and clinic coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Clinicians will also have OR block time on Tuesdays and Thursdays for elective procedures and must arrive a day prior for orientation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified interventional cardiologist required.
• Inpatient interventional cardiology coverage experience preferred.
• Locum tenens clinician for 24-hour STEMI call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour STEMI call basis, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM shifts.
• Clinic coverage Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Tuesday and Thursday OR block time for elective procedures; remain on call during clinic hours.
• Perform inpatient consult rounds and procedures as needed during each assigned block; orientation prior to first assignment block.
