Job summary

Adelphi Staffing seeks an Interventional Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in Paducah, KY. You will perform balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms in an inpatient setting, and respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital on a 7a–7a schedule.

Coverage blocks include multiple dates with travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance provided. Hospital privileges are required; Epic Cupid is the EMR system used.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional cardiology procedures including balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, and coronary angiograms.
• Respond to all cardiology calls for the hospital.
• Read and interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests (including nuclear stress).
• Provide general cardiology consults as needed.
