Job summary

GHR Travel Nursing is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for an inpatient travel assignment in Lansing, Michigan. This 13-week role features 10-hour night shifts, a 7 on/7 off rotation, and competitive weekly pay in a busy hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold an active Michigan pharmacist license (RPh), PharmD preferred, IV and hazardous drug certifications, and hospital pharmacy experience. EPIC experience is a plus, with weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan pharmacist license by start date.
• PharmD credential preferred.
• IV certification required.
• Chemo or hazardous drug certification required.
• Experience with hospital pharmacy workflows and medication safety practices.
• EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify inpatient medication orders with accuracy.
• Support safe medication use across diverse patient populations.
• Perform clinical dosing and pharmacokinetic support as needed.
• Prepare and oversee IV admixtures and hazardous drug handling.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care team to optimize outcomes.
• Assist with anticoagulation, antibiotics, renal dosing, and high-alert meds.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and documentation.
