Job summary

GHR Travel Nursing is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist for a travel inpatient role in Washington Township, NJ. This 16-week assignment features a night shift (8:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a 7-on/7-off rotating pattern and every-other-weekend requirement.

The position requires 2+ years of hospital pharmacy experience and an NJ Pharmacist License. Epic order verification, Pyxis/BD carousel operations, and sterile IV compounding experience are preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years of hospital pharmacist experience.
Active New Jersey Pharmacist License required at time of submission.
Experience with Epic order verification preferred.
Experience with BD Pyxis maintenance and BD carousel operations.
Experience with sterile IV compounding required.
Hazardous IV sterile compounding experience preferred.
Flu vaccine required, with medical or religious exemptions only.

Responsibilities

Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently using Epic.
Support safe and timely inpatient pharmacy operations during overnight shifts.
Maintain and assist with BD Pyxis and carousel system operations.
Prepare sterile IV compounds in accordance with hospital protocols.
Handle hazardous sterile IV compounding when needed and qualified.
Collaborate with the clinical team to support high-quality patient care.
Work scheduled nights, including every other weekend and designated holidays when applicable.
Follow all facility compliance, documentation, and safety procedures.
