Job summary

Talent4Health is seeking a travel Pharmacist for an inpatient assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The position runs for 13 weeks with a 40-hour workweek and daytime shifts, plus weekend and on-call coverage as required.

You will perform order verification, sterile compounding, therapeutics monitoring, transitions of care, and regulatory compliance in a hospital setting. Active Nebraska pharmacist licensure and Epic EMR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital/inpatient clinical experience.
• Epic experience required.
• Active Nebraska Pharmacist License or eligible compact license.
• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from ACPE-accredited school.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and verify inpatient medication orders; supervise staff in unit-dose fills and shelf stock.
• Oversee sterile compounding of IV admixtures, large-volume parenterals, and specialty compounds.
• Independent dosing, monitoring, and therapeutic adjustments (pharmacokinetics, anticoagulation).
• Interpret microbiology cultures and optimize antibiotic therapy (antimicrobial stewardship).
• Complete admission med reconciliations and provide discharge counseling at bedside.
• Ensure DEA records, vault control, waste auditing, and diversion prevention.
