Job Details

• Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • State of Texas Occupational Therapy license.
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
  • Neurological rehabilitation experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Provides patient care through 30- to 120-minute treatment sessions.
  • Typical daily patient caseload is approximately four to six patients.
  • Patient care may involve individuals with chest tubes, Jackson-Pratt (JP) drains, wound vacuum-assisted closure devices, tracheostomies, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes.
  • Treatment equipment may include Hoyer lifts, LiteGait systems, Sara Stands, hospital beds, and standard occupational therapy equipment.
  • Navy scrubs are required.
  • Flexible scheduling may be necessary to accommodate patient needs.
  • One major holiday and one minor holiday may be required if they occur during the assignment.
