Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in occupational therapy required; a masters degree may qualify with less than one year of experience, while a bachelors degree pathway requires two years of experience. Minimum one year of inpatient experience required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Texas occupational therapy licensure required, or willingness to obtain licensure upon offer.
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Some weekend coverage may be required.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include evaluating, treating, and monitoring patients; modifying therapy programs and goals; completing timely clinical documentation; communicating with patients, families, and the healthcare team; providing education; supervising support staff, students, and volunteers; and applying evidence-based occupational therapy practices.
