Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an Infection Control Specialist Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Anchorage, AK. The RN will coordinate, implement and monitor infection control and employee health programs across hospital or clinic settings.

Requirements include current RN license, 3–5 years in employee health or infection control, and knowledge of regulations. Travel position offers competitive pay and standard job benefits; BSN preferred and possible OSHA/clinical

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of assignment.
3–5 years’ experience in employee health or infection control preferred.
Infection Control Certification preferred.
Knowledge of state, federal and JC regulations.
CPR certification if applicable.
Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) may be required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate, develop, implement, and monitor an infection control and/or employee health program.
Coordinate programs to detect, evaluate and minimize infection risks to patients, staff, and visitors.
Serve as a resource to administration, medical staff and hospital/clinic services.
