Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks an experienced RN Infection Control Specialist for a travel assignment in Salinas, CA. The role focuses on coordinating and monitoring infection control and employee health programs within healthcare facilities.

The RN will implement strategies to reduce infection risks and support hospital services. Candidates should hold an active RN license and have related infection control experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of assignment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in employee health or infection control preferred.
• Infection Control Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of state, federal and JC regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access preferred.
• CPR certification current if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.

Infection Control Specialist Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay: $3301 / Week

Hours: 40.00

Location: Salinas, CA

The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for thecoordination, development, implementation, and monitoring of an infectioncontrol program and/or employee health program.The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating programsdesigned to detect, evaluate and minimize risks of acquired infections topatients, employees and visitors. The RN– Infection Control Specialist supports and acts as a resource toadministration, medical staff, and all hospital or clinic services.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensures as a Registered Nurse in the state of assignment required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in employee health orinfection control preferred
• Infection Control Certification preferred
• Knowledge of state, federal and JC regulations
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlookand Access preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
