ht h companies is seeking an Insulation candidate at our Lexington, KY location to select, measure, cut, and install insulation on piping and surfaces. The role involves reading blueprints, operating hand/power tools, and supporting scaffold building and cleaning tasks across industrial sites.

Candidates should have basic math skills, familiarity with tools, and experience in insulation or metal work; strong safety awareness and communication are essential for success in this team-driven

Qualifications

• Basic maths skills and familiarization with measuring tools.
• Experience with insulation tasks and metal work is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret basic instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe workplace by participating in safety trainings and using PPE.
• Handle insulation tasks and related materials in accordance with specs.
• Read blueprints/plans and measure/cut insulation accordingly.
• Readiness to assist in insulation, scaffold building, and industrial cleaning.
• Operate hand and power tools safely during tasks.
• Maintain organized inventory of equipment and materials.
• Work in varied weather conditions and job sites.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Overview:

Insulation candidate will select type and size of insulation and related materials and equipment according to specifications. Candidate will be expected to install, repair, and/or remove insulation on piping, walls, and other surfaces. Experience with insulating buildings, pipes, high/low pressure line pipes, and other mechanical systems is preferred. Candidate must know how to measure, cut, and fasten insulation. Candidate must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and plans, and must be able to operate industrial hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Promote safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
• Take care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manor.
• Participate and apply oneself while in training and when being mentored.
• Assist in insulation, scaffold building, industrial cleaning, job site cleanup, and preparation.
• Use hand tools safely.
• Complete tasks such as loading, un-loading, cleaning, shoveling, and painting.
• Perform tasks related to industrial insulation and metal fabrication.
• Organize inventory / equipment in effective manner.
• Work in various weather conditions, in various settings.
• Completion of various other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Basic math skills
• Knowledge of basic tools and their applications
• Experience in industrial insulation and metal (required)
