Job summary

• Titrate drips (e.g., Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetalol, Nitro, Heparin).
• Administer Lasix when indicated and manage respiratory equipment.
• Float to different units as needed while maintaining patient ratios.

Pay Range: 3149.88 - 3307.37

Schedule: 12's: Must be on the unit ready to go by 6:45 am/pm. Shifts run from 7a - 7p.

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

• Provide patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMU) with a patient ratio of 1:4, typically 1:5 or 1:6.
• Read and interpret telemetry strips, including strips from Nihon Kohden monitors.
• Titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Labetolol, Nitro, and Heparin. Occasionally administer Lasix.
• Manage respiratory equipment, including High Flow and Bipap devices.
• Float into different units as needed, maintaining ratios up to 1:6 or 1:7 in MedSurg.
