Job summary

VyTalent Solutions is seeking an ICU Travel Registered Nurse for a hospital contract in Baltimore, MD. This role demands 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30) and a 13–14 week assignment, with a 36-hour work week.

The ideal candidate will hold Maryland or compact RN licensure, have at least 2 years of Critical Care experience, and demonstrate proficiency in neuro and trauma care, dysrhythmia interpretation, and invasive support devices.

Qualifications

• Maryland or compact RN license required.
• 2+ years Critical Care experience.
• Level II trauma experience.
• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications.
• ATCAR or equivalent trauma education.
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment score.
• Neuro ICU and Surgical ICU experience.
• Dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Experience managing multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Cardiac and vasoactive drip titration experience.
• Experience with IABP, CRRT, EVD, Arctic Sun/Cooling blanket.
• Cerner charting system.
• Navy blue scrubs color.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to adult and geriatric patients in a 29-bed ICU setting.
• Manage neuro and trauma interventions, including multisystem organ failure and dysrhythmia.
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and manage specialized equipment such as IABP, CRRT, and EVD.
• Float within scope to IMC or other units as needed, maintaining patient safety and care standards.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner system, adhering to unit protocols.
