Job summary

Maximum Healthcare Solutions seeks a travel RN for Intermediate Care (IMC/Stepdown/PCU) in Springfield, IL. The assignment is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours, days).

Requirements include 1 year of IMC/PCU or telemetry experience, active IL RN license, BLS/NIHSS (ACLS preferred), and Cerner experience is a plus. Local candidates accepted with floating as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of IMC/PCU/neuro stepdown or telemetry experience.
• Active Illinois RN license in hand.
• BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience preferred.
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for complex cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, renal and respiratory patients.
• Provide post-op care and assist in critical care procedures.
• Float as needed and follow unit protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient outcomes.
