Job summary

SoftPath Medical in Albemarle, NC is seeking an ICU travel nurse to join a 14-bed ICU/PCU contingent within a broader hospital unit. The role requires 18–24 months of ICU experience, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and the ability to manage arterial lines, ventilators, and critical care drips.

You’ll float regionally, cover day shifts and weekends, with no overnight CNA. Expect 1:2 to 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios by acuity, hospitalist and VCC support, and a culture of teamwork with comprehensive orientation

Qualifications

• 18–24 months ICU nursing experience required.
• Experience with stroke care and NIH stroke scale assessments.
• Ability to manage arterial lines and central venous pressure lines.
• Proficiency with critical care drips, chest tubes, and peripheral IV insertions.
