Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an ICU travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Tulare, California. The position requires an active California RN license and ICU experience. Qualifications

• Active RN license in California or eligibility to practice in California (or equivalent)
• ICU nursing experience or demonstrated competency in critical care settings
• Ability to work in a high-acuity ICU environment and to perform 12-hour day shifts
• Nursing degree from an accredited program
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for ICU patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, implement treatments, and evaluate outcomes.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in patient management.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient safety; respond to emergencies and participate in ongoing care planning.
