Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Simi Valley, CA to join our ICU team. The role features 12-hour day shifts with 36's or 48's and includes travel stipends for qualified candidates.

You will deliver high-quality patient care in a professional setting and collaborate with the healthcare team. Minimum qualifications include a BSN, RN licensure in California, CPR/BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and preferred EPIC experience.

Qualifications

• BSN and RN licensure in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification from AH policy.
• ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS).
• PALS or ARC-PALS certification (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS).
• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Additional certifications may be required.
• Copy of PSV from the licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, TB test, immunization records).

Responsibilities

• Collect data pertinent to the patient health or situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
• Develop a plan prescribing interventions to attain outcomes.
• Implement the plan, coordinate care delivery and promote safety.
• Evaluate progress toward outcomes.
• Identify outcomes for the patient or situation.
• Collaborate with patient, family and healthcare providers in a safe environment.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients, families and team.
• Directly provide health information to patients, families and treatment team.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
