Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel assignment in Ontario, OH. Start date is 11/30/2026 with a 13-week duration and 24 hours per week, on a standard 8-hour shift.

Applicants must hold an active RN license, have a nursing degree from an accredited program, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications. Prior ICU experience is required, with client facility determining other requirements.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control changes in condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
