Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel nursing job in Lima, Ohio. The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, have ICU experience, and be available for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on the night shift.

This travel role includes benefits such as weekly pay, housing or housing allowance, health insurance, and a 401(k) matching program. BLS/ACLS required, and eighteen months of ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.
• Other client facility requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and educate family members.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Document medication administration meticulously.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures to control changes in patient condition.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
