Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mission Hills, California. This ICU travel assignment covers high-acuity patient care in a magnet designation hospital with neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, stroke, and surgical cases. The 16-week contract requires CA RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and 2 years ICU experience.

Schedule is 36 hours per week with 12-hour nights. Float rotations may occur between PCU/ICU overflow.

Qualifications

• 2 years ICU experience required.
• CA RN license required.
• NIHSS certification required (if applicable).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• LA City Fire Card within last 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage trauma, stroke, STEMI, surgical, cardiovascular, and neuro cases.
• Oversee ventilated patients, invasive lines, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Monitor arterial lines, chest tubes, and bedside monitors.
