Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel ICU/CCU RN for a 13-week assignment in Mission Hills, California. The position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and comprehensive travel benefits.

Required: active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months of recent ICU experience. Client facility specifics may apply. We provide weekly pay, housing support, health insurance, credentialing coverage, and the MedPro Experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to patients and families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status for distress.
• Administer medications and manage IVs; insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of care and meds administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
