Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift Critical Care role in Texas. The position requires several years of ICU experience and current TX or compact RN licensure.

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with ICU background is expected, with BSN preferred. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. The role supports a 13-week assignment with full benefits and relocation assistance where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in TX or compact license.
• Current BLS certification (AHA only).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA only).
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with several years ICU preferred.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for complex critical care patients in ICU MedSurgical A unit.
• Administer meds, monitor effects and side effects.
• Document history, symptoms, meds and care in the chart.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Use Epic EMR and Pyxis; schedule with Excel.
