Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for a 13-week contract in Fredericksburg, Texas. The position is a night-shift assignment with 36 hours per week, starting ASAP, typical travel RN duties and critical care responsibilities.

The ICU RN will monitor patients, collaborate with care teams, and adhere to essential care protocols in a fast-paced hospital environment. Local benefits and travel reimbursement are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ICU experience.
• Licenses: BLS, ACLS, PALS; NIHSS preferred.
• Experience in a charge role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow STEMI and stroke protocols.
• Administer conscious sedation and chest tubes; monitor emergencies.
• Perform intubations and manage codes.
• Operate Philips monitors, Lifepak 20e and Verathon devices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure care quality.
