Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU Travel Nurse (RN) in Sioux City, IA for a 13-week assignment. You will provide bedside ICU care, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate with physicians and families.

The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, critical care certifications, and the ability to lift and move patients as needed. The position offers travel opportunities, 12-hour night shifts, and a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC are required certifications.
• 2+ years of recent acute care experience is required.
• Travel RN ICU specialization is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor ICU patients and document care provided.
• Implement physician-directed care and patient care plans.
• Educate and support patient families, especially for long-term needs.
• Provide basic bedside care and manage medications and labs as ordered.
• Monitor equipment, interpret monitors, and ensure proper catheter and tubing placement.
