American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position in California. The role requires ACLS, BLS, and COVID vaccination, with at least 2 years ICU experience. Travel experience is preferred and the assignment is 13 weeks long with a 36-hour work week on 12-hour nights.

Responsibilities include working in a 22-bed ICU, managing cardiac drips, ventilator care, and monitoring with GE systems. The unit supports traveler-friendly policies and has 24/7 hospitalist coverage.

Formación

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of consideration.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Must provide two professional references: one supervisor (past 12 months) and one supervisor/peer (past 3 years).
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a 22-bed ICU within an acute care hospital setting.
• Maintain approximately 2:1 patient‑to‑nurse ratio.
• Manage drips including amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, heparin, and propofol.
• Ventilator management required with Hamilton G5 and Puritan Bennett 840 devices.
• Read and interpret cardiac monitor strips using GE monitors.
• Float to telemetry and possibly ED when census allows.
