American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for night shift. California RN license and ICU expertise required, with Epic EMR documented in your work history. The role includes on-call duties and occasional floating to meet unit needs.

The ideal candidate has BLS and ACLS in-hand, strong dysrhythmia management skills, and experience with arterial/central lines, ventilators, and hemodynamic monitoring. Local candidates welcomed at traveler pay rates.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license in-hand
• BLS and ACLS in-hand
• 1 year ICU experience within the past 2 years
• 1 year acute care experience
• Epic EMR experience documented in work history
• Two supervisor references required
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Dysrhythmia management
• IV therapy, arterial line and central line care
• Titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips
• BiPAP/CPAP management and ventilated patient care
• ETT and NT suctioning
• Isolation precautions and PPE use

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients, including cardiac and respiratory monitoring
• Manage ventilated and hemodynamically unstable patients using advanced skills
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ICU care team
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM)
• On-call as needed, floating as needed
• Epic EMR use must be noted in work history
