Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Brevard, North Carolina. The role is on night shift in an acute care/PCU unit, requiring an active NC or Compact RN license and ICU/stepdown experience.

The unit details include a 30-bed capacity with a mix of RNs, LPNs, and NAs, and patient ratios targeting 2-4:1 for ICU/stepdown and 5-6:1 med/surg. The position includes weekend rotation and holiday coverage, with responsibilities spanning

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, to be completed prior to end of orientation.
• 2+ years of RN experience required.
• ICU or stepdown experience preferred.
• 1 year of med/surg experience preferred.
• Experience with IV starts, CVL, arterial lines, foley catheters, EKG monitoring, and wound care.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required (two for Florida and Missouri).
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on Acute Care unit ranging from med/surg to ICU level.
• Monitor patient ratios and collaborate with team for stepdown/ICU care.
• Support 30-bed unit with staffing of RNs/LPNs and NAs on day/night shifts.
• Float to TCU as needed and participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
