MedPro Healthcare Staffing has an ICU/CCU travel nurse RN opening in Brevard, North Carolina. The assignment is a 13-week travel role with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour night shifts.

The candidate must hold an active RN license, have a nursing degree from an accredited program, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications, with at least 18 months of recent ICU experience. Travel credentials and housing arrangements are provided by the agency.

Qualifications

• Active RN License is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience.
• Other client requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education to ICU patients.
• Ensure life support equipment functions properly (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor vital signs and assess for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as needed.
• Perform CPR accurately and promptly.
