Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ketchikan, AK. The ICU RN will provide comprehensive critical care in the ICU, monitor patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with the clinical team.

Ideal candidates have one year of ICU experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Travel with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and support from a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent ICU RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care nursing standards.
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families regarding ICU care, treatments, and recovery expectations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
