PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in beautiful Ketchikan, Alaska. This full-time role (0.90 FTE) covers variable or night shifts and offers a generous compensation package along with a relocation bonus and potential hiring incentive.

The ICU RN provides high-acuity patient care, collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and supports quality outcomes in a facility that offers a broad range of services

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license; BLS, ACLS, and PALS required or obtained per policy.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.
• Delegate and direct patient care activities per team members' education and licensure.
• Maintain professional knowledge and clinical competency through ongoing education.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, and infection prevention.
• Support PeaceHealth policies and standards of care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
