Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse – MICU for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. This 3x12-hour day shifts role offers $2,177–$2,318 per week and 36 guaranteed hours.

You will work in a critical access hospital ICU, with responsibilities including direct ICU care, hemodynamics, ventilated patients, and collaboration with the care team. CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and EPIC EHR experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in CA; BLS; ACLS or ARC-ALS.
• At least two years ICU/acute care nursing experience; critical care experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Epic EHR experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for an assigned ICU patient population using the nursing process.
• Monitor and manage hemodynamics, ventilated patients, and complex clinical scenarios; administer medications and therapies as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to optimize outcomes.
• Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record and update care plans as patient status evolves.
• Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and safety initiatives to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and coordinate tasks for assigned nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate.
