Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions partners with Lifepoint Health to offer travel nurse opportunities across a nationwide network. This role supports a hospital in North Carolina for 8, 10, or 13 week assignments based on facility need and patient care requirements.

You will perform comprehensive nursing duties, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care while adhering to clinical standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other care activities.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate updates to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial support.
• Educate patients and families based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
