Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, in partnership with Lifepoint Health, is seeking a skilled nurse for travel assignments at a community hospital in Henderson, NC. Assignments are 8, 10, or 13 weeks based on facility need, with guaranteed hours and competitive pay.

The role requires a current nursing license, at least one year of acute care experience, and ability to work across disciplines to support patient care. Housing options or tax-free subsidy and weekly direct deposit are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Appropriate certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited school.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly in reading, writing, speaking and understanding English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care; document care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide appropriate education.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
