Job summary

ARMStaffing seeks a travel nurse RN for ICU Float in Philadelphia, PA. The RN will float to ICUs, step-down units, and ED as needed, delivering comprehensive critical care to critically ill patients. Start date 09/28/2026; 13-week contract; 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include PA RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ICU experience (1 year) and TNCC preferred. Travel benefits, clinician support, and comprehensive onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ICU setting (No new grads allowed).
• Current PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Required).
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (Required).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under a licensed physician.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team using the nursing process.
• Direct nursing staff in patient care according to nursing standards.
• Participate in orientation and training for floating roles to ensure competence.
• Manage patient ratios to ensure quality care (1:3).
