Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Seattle is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for Critical Care Float. The assignment is 20 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts in a bustling ICU setting.

Active RN license, accreditation, BLS & ACLS, and 18 months ICU experience are required. The role offers weekly pay, housing options, health benefits, travel reimbursement, and a supportive clinical team through MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• 18 months of recent ICU experience (Acute Care ICU).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and family education and support.
• Ensure proper operation of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes).
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Meticulous documentation of medications.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures.
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively.
