Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Critical Care Float position in Madison, Wisconsin. This assignment runs for 13 weeks with a 36-hour work week, typically 12-hour nights, in an ICU setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license with BLS and ACLS, plus 18 months of recent Acute Care ICU experience. Travel benefits include housing options, weekly pay, and credentialing support.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU and support patients' families
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes)
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration; respond to changes
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medications and care
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures and rapid response scenarios
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively
