Job summary

The ICU Registered Nurse role is a travel assignment in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This 7-week contract starts 10/05/2026, with a rotating 12-hour shift and a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio. You'll support pediatric needs and may float to nearby units within a 40-mile radius during the engagement.

Requirements include a Wisconsin RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years ICU experience; a nursing ADN or certification is preferred. Housing and other travel benefits are provided by Cross Country Nurses.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license and BLS/ACLS/PALS required.
• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience; pediatric cases may be seen.
• Preferred ADN or nursing certification.

Responsibilities

• Rotating 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Float to other units within a 40-mile radius as needed.
• On-call may be required during low census with 2-hour callback.
• Unit ratio: 1 patient to 2 nurses; EPIC charting used.
