Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse to join a temporary assignment in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This role requires精 experienced RN with ACLS/BLS/PALS and 1–2 years of recent acute care ICU experience, performing 12-hour shifts on a 36-hour weekly schedule.

You'll assess and care for critically ill patients, document care plans, support families, and coordinate with the medical team. Travel RN duties include equipment management and medication administration in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; additional certifications may be needed before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside ICU care and monitor patient status.
• Administer and document prescribed medications; report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Draw and process lab specimens and interpret laboratory findings.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and lines; ensure proper placements.
• Communicate patient conditions to families and coordinate with the care team.
