MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Roxboro, North Carolina. This travel assignment runs 13 weeks with a 36-hour week, nights, and a travel employment type.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS certification
• Eighteen months of recent ICU experience

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and educate the patient's family
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment such as ventilators
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed
• Meticulous documentation of medication administration
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt changes in condition
• Perform CPR accurately and effectively
