Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an ICU travel nurse in Evansville, IN for a 13-week assignment. Expect 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. Travel employment, immediate start, requires 1–2 years acute care experience and ICU certification readiness (ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIH, CPI).

Duties include bedside care, meds, diagnostics, labs, monitoring ICU equipment, and family communication. Compensation details: pay package based on 12-hour shifts; tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• NIH credential may be required.
• CPI certification may be required.
• At least 2 years of acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for labs and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust ICU equipment and monitor displays.
• Ensure proper placement of catheters, leads and tubing.
• Communicate patient conditions to family members.
