Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for an ICU position in Coeur D Alene, Idaho. This travel assignment is 13 weeks with 48 hours per week, featuring 12-hour night shifts. Ideal candidates are experienced RNs with ICU expertise and a valid Idaho (or compact) license before start.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• 1. General job duties / types of procedures required:
• Be responsible for evaluating, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for Critical Care patients.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
• Perform various patient tests and administer medications within your scope of practice
• Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and their family to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Regular and predictable attendance is an ESSENTIAL job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
• 2. Equipment utilized in the unit/department:
• EPIC
• Must be able to push, pull, or transport heavy equipment
• Plum IV pumps, Philips monitors
• 3. Required licensures, certificates/registrations, and/or life support certifications:
• State of Idaho (or compact) RN license prior to start (can submit candidates with application pending)
• AHA BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• 4. Required skills, minimum years of experience, and/or education:
• Licensed experienced RN with a minimum 3 years’ patient-facing RN experience at time of hire, ADN or diploma required; BSN
