Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Illinois. The role requires an active IL RN license, 2–3 years ICU experience, and strong neuro assessment skills.

Nurses will work 12-hour nights in an 18-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 in ICU and 3:1 in step-down. Position staffing includes travel employment with a 13-week duration, location Marion, IL, and benefits like comprehensive medical/dental/vision and per diems.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 3 years preferred.
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required.
• Proficient in NIHSS, dysphagia screening, and neuro assessment.
• Experience with telemetry/EKG interpretation, ventilator management, and titration of sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, vasoactive agents, and insulin.
• Must pass an EKG exam on the first day.
• Sepsis protocols familiarity and post-ROSC care knowledge.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week
• Candidates must live at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible

Requirements
