American Traveler is seeking a Travel ICU RN for Decatur, IL. Assignment starts 01/12/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours weekly, three 12-hour day shifts in a Level II Trauma ICU.

Requires IL RN license, 2+ years ICU experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, PICC/IV skills, dialysis experience; travel pay package with per diem and reimbursements; free parking and other benefits.

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN with an active IL license, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience and certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU of a Level II Trauma acute care hospital
• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:00 to 18:30
• 22-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio on all shifts
• Floating within scope required as needed
• Will work weekends if needed for department coverage
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Block scheduling requests may be discussed with the manager
• RTO is ideally limited to no more than 5 days
• Any solid color scrubs are permitted
• Free parking available with permit provided during orientation
• Team members may be required to float within their scope to meet patient care needs
