Job Summary

An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is available in Evanston, Illinois. The role involves providing critical care in a fast‑paced ICU environment, primarily working night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their licensure on the first day of their assignment.

Job Details

• Location: Evanston, Illinois
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Illinois license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), 2+ years of strong ICU experience (Cardiac and/or neuro experience preferred), Epic Charting experience, passed EKG test of 80% or higher at submission, and submit an updated resume, skills checklist (completed within 12 months), and one reference (within 12 months)
• Preferred Qualifications: CCRN certification is preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required; will not have a fixed home base
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
• On-Call Requirements: None
• Orientation: Mondays, with credential submission due Thursday before start; orientation hours total 16 hours, paid but not billable
• Additional Information: The position involves working at multiple facilities, with a majority of the time spent at the Evanston and Glenbrook hospitals. Candidates must have a valid IL license, a passed EKG test (80% or higher), and submit all required documentation by the specified deadlines.
