Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ICU RN with recent critical care background to function as a Rapid Response nurse on night shifts in a community hospital setting near Charlotte, NC. Active NC or compact RN license required, with 2 years ICU experience and BLS/ACLS.

Responsibilities include 1:4 patient ratios, Epic and Pyxis charting, 36 hours weekly with potential 7 days RTO, and travel experience preferred. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and paid CEUs.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NC or compact state.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; NIHSS preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate as Rapid Response RN in a CCU/step-down capacity.
• Care for DKA, sepsis, respiratory distress, heart failure, stroke patients.
• Maintain 1:4 patient ratio and 36 hours/week schedule.
• Night shift 18:45–07:15; travel experience preferred.
• Chart with Epic; use Pyxis for med administration.
