Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN in Critical Care Float for a Phoenix, AZ assignment. This RN will cover ICU/CCU needs on the night shift with 12-hour shifts, across a 13-week duration.

The role requires an active RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, BLS and ACLS, and 18+ months ICU experience in acute care. Travel benefits and enterprise support are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

Active RN license
Degree from accredited nursing program
BLS & ACLS certification
Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
Other requirements to be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and educate/support patient families
Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes)
Monitor heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for distress
Administer medications, IVs and catheter insertions as needed
Meticulous documentation of medication administration
Assist in emergency nursing procedures for changes in condition
Perform CPR accurately and effectively
