Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Critical Care Float in Phoenix, AZ. This ICU float role covers multiple units in a Level I trauma teaching hospital, requiring strong critical care skills and the ability to manage complex drips and ventilators.

You will work 12-hour nights, with a rotation across ICU and Med/Surg/Telemetry, and 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks. Requires 2+ years ICU in a trauma center or teaching hospital, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and an active RN license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years ICU experience in Level I trauma center or teaching hospital.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Valid RN license; willingness to wait for licensure verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICU float coverage across Tower 2, Tower 4, and Neuro in a teaching hospital.
• Administer critical care therapies, manage drips, and operate ventilators.
• Work 12-hour night shifts with mandatory float rotation across ICU and Med/Surg/Telemetry units.
