Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Critical Care Float position in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role requires an active RN license, ACLS/BLS, and 18 months ICU experience, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS & ACLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care ICU experience

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in ICU/CCU with life-threatening conditions
• Monitor life support equipment (ventilators, feeding tubes) and intervene as needed
• Monitor patient vitals and signs of distress
• Administer medications and manage IVs and catheters
• Document medication administration meticulously
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures as conditions change
• Perform CPR and advanced life support when required
