Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU for a travel job in Marrero, Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have an active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program, along with BLS and ACLS certification and a minimum of eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• At least eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and education to the patient's family.
• Ensure proper functioning of life support equipment.
• Observe patient's signs for distress.
• Administer medication, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.
