Job summary

Mobile Air & Power Rentals seeks Travel Service Technicians to join our dynamic team. Roles range from Entry Level to Senior Technicians, with at least 60% out-of-town travel required.

Responsibilities include coordinating delivery, installation, and servicing of rental equipment, processing orders for timely fulfillment, and delivering exceptional customer experiences that drive repeat business. Higher level techs will handle chillers and large HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug test to operate company vehicles.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check prior to employment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. using safe lifting practices.
• Experience with HVAC equipment and generators is preferred for higher level roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; familiarity with rental software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery, installation, and servicing of our rental equipment.
• Process customer orders from sales or branch manager to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences that foster repeat business.
• Install and connect heating equipment to natural gas or propane sources and set up ductwork.
• Utilize PPE and fall protection at all times to ensure safety.
• Perform equipment startup and service repairs; retrieve equipment on rental completion.
• Conduct equipment reconditioning per work instructions and document returns.
