Job summary

Talascend is seeking an HVAC Service Technician for a contract opportunity in Mobile, Alabama. The selected candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across multiple commercial properties, leveraging expertise in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

The role requires EPA/CFC certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Travel within a defined territory and on-call duties are expected as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Universal EPA/CFC certification (required).
Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repair services on commercial HVAC systems.
Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
Execute work orders using CMMS with minimal supervision.
Travel to multiple client locations within the geographic territory.
Respond to on-call duties and overtime as required.
Identify energy savings opportunities and communicate with property management.
